Friends of St. Mary Magdalene Gardens works together with Hope Church, Islington Council, local schools, residents and gardening groups.
Local community and gardening is a salve to many of modern life’s personal and societal challenges such as isolation, anxiety, crime and loss of agency.
By taking care of the gardens together we can build local resilience and friendships, and enhance health and well-being.

“The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies.”
Gertrude Jekyll
